NEWSPAPER OFFICE GUTTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wairoa, Sept. 19. The Guardian Office was totally burned out at 7«80 this morning. Apparently a gasoline apparatus connected with a linotype exploded and the fire spread rapidly as there was no firefighting appliances. The neighboring building, occupied by A. J. Chicken and J. C. Fletcher escaped owing to the brick walls. The insurances are not available.
