Tn connection with the State-controll-ed steamship service between England and the Dominions, it is stated that the fleet will cost £27,000,000, which Britain ■ will raise, the Dominions paying 3% per cent, interest and sinking -fund, and Britain 2A per cent, interest and sinking fund. The annual contribution of the four Dominions will be £630,000, and Britain’s share will be £450,000. The Imperial Shipping Committee is reluctant to examine the details of the scheme unless St one or more of the Government’s requests—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
