The British Association has concluded one of its most memorable gatherings at Edinburgh. It will meet at Hull in 1922; at Liverpool in 1923, and probably k.n Canada in 1924. The president. Sir Edward Thorpe, in his concluding address, said the proceedings showed that science was on the verge of a great new epoch. There was no question that science was now’ at the parting of the ways, and that, in the ■immediate future, the foundations of science would receive fundamental development.
