Kurow, loading at Newcastle, for New Plymouth. Due here early. Walotapu, to load on Pacific coast in October. OVERSEAS VESSELS. It is anticipated that the loading of the Dorset will be completed to-night. Rain having delayed getting the ship away earlier, and the overseas berth being thus occupied, the arrival of t):e Easterner from Wellington has now been timed for to-morrow morning, when the Dorset will have sailed. The incoming vessel, which has a gross tonnage of 5567, brings a cargo of benzine and kerosene. and will probably leave for New Plymouth this afternoon. RIMU TO-DAY. The Rimu, which passed ti:e Manukau Heads at 6 p.m. yesterday, Ls due this morning from Onehunga. It was expected that after this trip the vessel would be replaced by the Rarawa. As the annual overhaul of the Rarawa will take longer than was expected, she will not resume running in the Onehunga service next week, but will commence the following week, arriving here on Tuesday, September 27. This will not affect the arrangements made to take the Auckland football team home, as the Rimu will be delayed to suit their confluence, THE RAMA. The Chatham Islands Fishing Company’s steamer Rama, which Is due at Wellington on Sunday front Dunedin. Timaru, and Lyttelton, will sail on Monday with general cargo for New Plymouth.
WAIKAWA LEFT AUCKLAND. The Union Company’s steamer Waikawa left Auckland on Wednesday for Wellington, in continuation of her voyage from San Francisco. Tho vessel is due at Wellington to-morrow morning, and is to sail again about Tuesday for Lyttelton. She then comes to New Plymouth. MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. The Union Company’s inter-colonlal passenger steamer Manuka arrived at Wellington on Wednesday from Sydney direct. The Manuka brought 170 tons of cargo, which Included transhipments ex Katoomba, Naldera. El Kantara, Omar, Manila. Janus, Kanowa, Alii Mani, Wodonga, Taiyuan, and Orsova. THE MARAMA. The Union Company’s R.M.S. Marama arrived at Papeete at 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday week freon Sydney and Wellington, via Rarotonga. and sailed at 5 pm. on Thursday last for San Francisco. She is due at the Californian port on September 19. THE WAIHEMO. The trans-Pacific cargo steamer Walhemo arrived at San Francisco at 8 p.m. on Friday from Vancouver and Ocean Falls. She will complete loading at ’Frisco for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Timaru, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. WIRELESS FROM THE TAHITI. According to a wireless message received from the R.M.S Tahiti, sl.e expects to arrive at Wellington from San Francisco via Papeete and Rarotonga/' at 7 a.m. tb-morrow. She is timed to sail for Sydney at 5 p.m. on Mobday. MATAKANA FROM LIVERPOOL. The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company advise that their new cargo steamer -Mutakana is to leave Liverpool on the 23rd Inst, with cargo for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel Is due al Auckland about November 7. THE CANADIAN SPINNER. The Canadian Spinner, on route from Montreal, is to leave Melbourne to-morrow for Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton, to discharge and to load for New York and Boston. The vessel is due at Wellington on Septeunher 27. and will sail finally on October 9 from Lyttelton. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
