Clemente' (Manawatu) beat Parkes (Wanganui) 4 and 2; Collins (JVairarapa) beat Ekstedt (Manawatu) 4 and 3; Barraud (Manawatu) beat Turnbull (Napier) 7 and 6; G. Saunders (‘Wanganui) with a 73 round beat D. G. Moore (Manawatu) 4 and 3; Riddell (Napier) beat I. Saunders (Wanganui) 2 up; Goes (Wanganui) , beat Crosse (Napier) on the 20th green; W. Seifert beat Hawkins (Fe* 1 v, ”r) 1 up; Bidwill (Wairarapa) bea. Hack (Miramar) 1 up. Second round.—Clemente beat Collins 4 and 2: G. Saunders beat Barraud 5 and 4; Goss beat Riddle 3 and 2; Bidwill beat Seifert 3 and 2. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The following are the results of a medal handicap match played by the ladies on the New Plymouth links on Tuesday afternoon:— Miss Simpson $2 Miss Goldwater ............ 85 Miss Gavin —BB Miss Rundle .... 88 Airs.
