QUEBEC VOTES “WET.” By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received Sept. 14, 8.30 p.m. Ottawa, Sept. 13. A Quebec city telegram states that Quebec, by a majority of 12,000, voted to be “wet.” The effect of the voting will repeal the existing local option law and place the city under the provincial liquor statute, whereby the Government may vend intoxicants at their own dispensaries.
