IRISH PROBLEM.

SINN FEIN’S REPLY.

REACHES THE PREMIER. FINAL DECISION SOON. By Telegraph.—-Press Assn.—Copyrigtt. Received Sept. 14, 5.5 p.m. London, Sept. 13. The Daily Express’ Gairloch correspondent states that the definite acceptance or rejection of the Government’s terms is expected to reach Mr. Lloyd George, who had spent the morning fishing. He caught a ten-pound trout and then went for a walk in the direction in which Messrs. Boland and McGrath (the Sinn Fein delegates) were expected, hoping to meet them on the road, possibly in order to display the trout. At any rate he missed them. They had travelled thirty-four hours without sleep. After an interview they immediately started on an eighty-miles motor car journey across the desolate Highlands in order to reach Dublin in time for the meeting of the Dail Eireann on Wednesday, at which the answer will finally be considered. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.

Received Sept. 14, 8.30 p.m.. London, Sept. 12.

Official: Messrs. McGrath and Boland interviewed Mr. Lloyd George on behalf of De Valera. They discussed some points with reference to the suggested conference and they are now returning to Dublin with Mr. Lloyd. George’s views for further consideration,—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
