FOOTBALL.
OTAGO-TARANAKI MATCH, The members of the Otago team to meet Taranaki at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth, on Saturday are expected to arrive in New Plymouth by the mail train to-morrow evening. In addition i to the inter-provincial contest the New | Plymouth High School and Stratford i teams will meet in the third grade final as a curtain-raiser. This game starts at 12.30 p.m., and the kick-off in the rep match is timed for 2 o’clock. THE TEST MATCH. In order to give the public who are i travelling from Taranaki by the special i train to Wellington an equal Chance of i securing tickets these will not be on on the train till after it has left ! Hawera. Though this announcement was previously made the number of inquiries which have been received by the secretary of the union in this connection indicate that some intending passengers are not acquainted with the arrangement.
