Port Lyttelton. At Wellington. Due New Plymouth to load September 20. DORSET TO-DAY. The Federal liner Dorset is expected to arrive at New Plymouth about six o’clock this morning, and should be berthed before seven.* The English cargo for discharge amounts to 750 tons, a large part of which is salt. The vessel Is to load other cargo, the approximate quantities being 7000 bags of frozen meat, 300 casks of tallow and 10,000 boxes of butter. Loading and discharging will be carried on at the same time, and are expected to occupy three days. The Dorset will sail on Thursday or Friday for ! Wellington. RIMU FROM ONEHUNGA. The Northern Company’s Rknu is due today on the usual run from Onehunga with cargo and passengers. She sails again at' 6.30 p.m. CORINNA’S MOVEMENTS. The Corinna will leave Dunedin to-morrow in place of the Kamo for New Plymouth, via the usual ports, including Wellington. She should arrive here about the 21st inst. KENNEDY FOR FOXTON. The steamer Kennedy, which arrived on Sunday from Wellington, discharged 100 tons of cargo yesterday and sailed at 3 p.m. for Foxton. CARGO OF CASE OIL. Tire Easterner, which is scheduled to arrive at New Plymouth towards/ the end of the week, has 11,000 cases of benzine and 5000 cases of kerosene for discharge, in addition to a small quantity of general cargo. SYDNEY BOAT. The Union Company advise that the Manuka left Sydney on Saturday afternoon for Wellington, and is due there to-morrow. The vessel will lay up at Wellington, and the Tahiti will take her run to Sydney on September 19. The Tahiti is expected at Wellington on Saturday next from San Francisco. WIRELESS FROM THE KUMARA. The S.S. and A. Line have received a wireless message from the Kumara to the effect that she may be expected to arrive at Auckland from Liverpool to-day.\ She will then go to Wellington. FROM WEST COAST PORTS OF ENGLAND. The following .projected sailings of vessels from the west coast of England are announced by the Federal Line: —Waimate, to leave Liverpool for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers, on October 8; Ojiawa, to leave West Coast for Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, October 15. SUSSEX TO LOAD AT MONTREAL. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Sussex is expected to commence loading next Friday at Montreal for New Zealand ports. PORT LYTPELTON’S OFFICERS. Captain F. A. Renault commands the C. and D. liner Port Lyttelton, and he has with him the following officers:—Chief, Mr. T. Ferris; second, 'Mr. A. W. Sams; third, Mr. E. H. Miles; fourth, Mr. G. W. B. Lovegrove; chief engineer, Mr. P. C. Cheney; second, Mr. Robertson; third, Mr. Dempsey; fourth, Mr. Benson; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. C. Mackrow; wireless operator, Mr. L. Fenn. CANADIAN GOVERNMENT BOATS. The Canadian Mariner is now expected at Wellington on October 5, direct from New York. She Is later to proceed to Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. It is expected that the Canadian Conqueror will be in New Zealand waters early in October to load for New York and Montreal. REMUERA LEAVES PANAMA.

The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Remuera left Panama for Auckland on September 8. She Is due there about September 30. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. > ARRIVED.
