PROCEEDS TOTAL £330. AWARDS IN CHILDREN’S 'CLASSES. The spring flower show at the Whiteley Hall was brought to a conclusion on Saturday (children’s day). The function was fairly well attended throughout the afternoon, and the proceeds amounted to about £45. Thia brings the total in hand to £330, but the amount is not yet complete. The following are the awards made by the judge, Miss Ruby Okey, in the children's classes:— BUTTONHOLES. Five years and under.—Jack Frethey 1, Harold Yardley 2. Nine years and under.—Girls: Joan Harvey .1, Ethel Frethey 2. Boys: Wilfred Hancock 1, Erie Coleman 2. Twelve years and under.—Girls: Frances Field 1 and 3, Kitty Trotter 2, Phyllis Harvey 4. Boys: Douglas Elliott 1, Lanrie Hancock 2. Decorated baskets.—Gladys Hancock 1, Nellie Kendrick 2. Decorated Bowl. —Gladys Hancock 1. Decorated tables.—Joyce Short 1, Douglas Elliott 2.
