Club meeting the weather was line, the going good and the attendance fair. The totalisator handled £18,692, against £16,185 for the last July meeting. Results: HUNTERS’ HURDLES.—Oak Rose (R. Hunt) 1, Te Maire 2, Gay Jacket 3. Scr.: Kafour, Scimitar, Tipperary Lass. Won by three lengths, six lengths separating second and third. Time, 3m in 23sec. TRIAL HACK PLATE.—Paphian (C. Stratton) 1, Flying Nell 2, Rose of Athens 3. Scratched: Miss Star, Panache, Scotch Mixture, Lady Thumharn, Achilleon, Simoretta, Demoness, Pakaraka, Amaryllis, Young Thurnharn, Ngatiapa, Rowan. Won by a head, a length between second and third. Time, Imin 2 4-ssec.
RANGITIKEI HUNT CUP.—Onipoto (H. Burt) 1, Gaekwar 2, Nicomar 3. Nicomar fell, L. Berry breaking his collarbone. F. Lind rode Nicomar home, getting third place. Papatere baulked and Three Bells ran off. Scratched: Tirau and Stetson. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, 6min 20sec.
CROFTON HANDlCAP.—Molyneaux (R. Reed) 1, Stork 2, Quest 3. Scratched: Starland, Trespass, Independence. Won by three-quarters of a length. Tune, Imin 51sec.
VIEW HALLOA STEEPLECHASE.—Tirau (H. Burt) 1, Ringi 2, Martinello 3. Scratched: Nicomar, Onipoto, Stetson, Rosemount. Won by six lengths, 100 yards separating the next two. Time, smin 31sec.
