Mr. Bruce was elected to Commissions No. 1 (dealing with constitutional matters including the amendment of Covenant), No. 4 (which deals with the finances and budget), and No. 6 (dealing with political disputes between States and the admission of new States). Mr. Shepherd was elected to No. 2 (which receives the reports of the various commissions which sat during the year), No. 3 (disarmament), and No. 5 (humanitarian, such as opium traffic, women and children, and typhus).
