The Mayor, Mr. Wright, interviewei Sir Francis Bell to-day regarding the proposed £15,000 unemployment relief loan. Sir Francis Bell said the proposal was a bad precedent, but he was willing to introduce ktgislarion to permit the raising of the loan. The Mayor proposes to levy a special rate to repay the loan.
