A splendid range of ladies’ underwear is to be sold to-day at lowest prices at Morey and Son’s sale. Your early call is recommended owing to the heavy demand that is sure to arise from such fine garments, so heavily reduced in cost. Messrs. Webster Bros, sell Mr. Perrett’s collection of paintings, etchings, etc., at 1.30 to-morrow (Thursday). They are now on view, also this evening from 7 o’clock. The Girl Peace and Fairy Scouts gave their first convert on Saturday evening, in St. Mary’s Sunday school room. It was an encouragement to the girls to see so many of the parents and friends present. The collection amounted, to £2 14s 9d. The girls wish to express their thanks to Mrs. Bennett for her kindness in presiding at the piano, to Mrs. E. Jury for the recitation given during change of scenery, and to the mother who gave such a helping hand
