PACIFIC MANOEUVRES. SPECIAL SECRECY OBSERVED. DREADNOUGHTS’ FIGHTING POWERS. By Telegraph .-'Press Assn.— -Copyright. Received Sept. 6, 7.35 p.m. New York, Sept. 6. The fleet in the Pacific will start their autumn manoeuvres tomorrow. Never since the war has so much secrecy been shown about the fleet’s movements and the fighting strength of the navy now in the Pacific, where the dreadnoughts are equipped with the latest weapons and will try their fighting powers. Bombing experiments, similar to those in the Atlantic, will he tried under other conditions.
