LABOR MEMBER’S RETIREMENT.

EXPLANATION DEFERRED

By Telegraph .—Pi e» Association Christchurch, Last Night. Mr. J. A. M. McCullough, who ha* been the Labor member of the Arbitration Court for many years, has resigned that position. The present term of Mr. McCullough’s appointment does not expire until 1923. Asked to state the reasons for his Mr. McCullough said he was not ready yet to make a considered statement on the matter. He is preparing a written statement for the Alliance of Labor Conference, which wiP be held at Wellington to-morrow.
