The Rimu left Onehunga at. 2.30. p.m. yesterday for New Plymouth 1 ' with passengers aujl 150 tons of cargo. Sire should arrive In. port early this morning, and will sail again for Onehunga at 0.30 o’clock this evening. ALEXANDER FROM WESTPORT. The small steamer Alexander arrived from Westport yesterday with 300 tons of coal to put out. It was expected the vessel would be ready to sail for Westport late • last night. THE KINI SAILS. The Kini, which arrived from Wellington and South Island ports on Saturday with general cargo, completed discharging last night and sailed, for Pieton, where she loads chaff for Onehunga. MOVEMENTS OF KAMO. The U.S.S. Co. advise that the Kamo, which is en route froun Dunedin, was scheduled to leave Lyttelton at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon for Nelson and New Plymouth. The vessel should reach this port on Thursday with about 1000 tons of cargo. RAKANOA LAID UP. A telegram from Auckland states that the Rakanoa arrived from Westport on Sunday, and after discharge goes to anchor there for mi indefinite period, making 20 Union Company steamers laid up in various parts of the Dominion. MANUKA FROM SYDNEY. T4e Union Company advises that the Manuk;: arrived at Sydney on Friday morning from Wellington. She is to leave Sydney next Saturday on her next trip to Wellington, and on arrival, there on September 14 will withdraw temporarily from the .Sydney service. The Tahiti, ’sailing from Wellington on September 19, will take over the Manuka's CORINTHIC FOR WELLINGTON. According to a later message reeelved by the Shaw, Savill Company, the Corlnthic is expected to, arrive at Wellington on Thursday, September 8, a day sooner than was previously announced. The Corlnthic left Southampton on July 28. PORT HACKING AND PORT DARWIN. Tlie Port Hacking is expected to leave New York on September 2ft for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney.
