August 30. - of the fighting in Asia Minor is indicated by a laconic communique dated Augunt 28: ‘‘The battle at Sakaria River continues most violent.” A naval communique says the Greek bombardment of towns on the Black Sea coast caused a stoppage of the persecution of Christians. —Reuter Service.
