The New York Times’ Washington correspondent states that President Harding will call a national unemployment conference in Washington. He has instructed Mr. Hoover to formulate plans for it. The personnel will be geographically determined, and will embrace, as far as possible, the representation of industries which are the greatest employers.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
