The Governor of West Virginia has requested the War Department to rush a thousand troops to the State to meet five thousand miners, many being armed. who are marching from the Mingo coal fields in protest against martial law existing there. At Logan 500 citizens are organising to oppose the miners. Reports to the Governor state the miners are commandeering stores as advance— Cable Assn.
