MARVELLOUS X-RAYS.
DETECT SWALLOWED RINGS. By Telegraph.—Preb.i Assn —Copyright. London, August 20. The first case of X-rays diagnosing stolen property in the human body occurred at Thurrock, Essex. A woman was arrested for stealing rings from a jeweller’s shop. She swallowed her plunder and tho chief constable ordered an examination. The X-rays clearly revealed the rings in her stomach and an emetic restored them unharmed.
