Since the “Better ’Ole” came, was seen, and conquered, there has been no picture with qualities of humanness and humor, until now, the English picture that is companion to “The Better ’Ole,” which will be screened at the King’tS Theatre at to-day’s matinee for the last time, has them all without pathos, and the enraptured audience that greeted last night’s performance with roars of contented laughter, is sufficient proof of this. The sense of humor displayed by men of the Navy is no whit less than that of the Army, consequently “Alf’s Button” .was easily k first favorite amongst the men of the “Renown” on the recent world’s tour of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales.
