LOWGARTH DAIRY COMPANY.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of shareholders of the Lowgarth Dairy Jactory Company was held on Thursday, Mr. J. Fearon presiding over a good attendance. The report showed that to date the company had paid out 2s 0 3-8 d per lb butterfat, but a further payment will be made before the end of the year, which will increase this to at least 2s 2d. The retiring directors were Messrs. W. Richardson and L. Babington, and Messrs. Richardson and T. Malone were elected to the board. Mr. J. Fearon was re-elected chairman of directors. The Government tester was present at the meeting and enrolled several new members in the herd-testing association.
