THE CONTEST FUND. To-morrow a house-to-house canvass will be made in New Plymouth in aid of the contest fund for the Citizens’ Band. The names of collectors, with their respective streets are as follows: Devon Street (Waiwakaiho—Henui), Miss E. Greatbatch; Fitzroy (sea side of Devon Street), Misses Kirton and Allen; Paynter’s Lane, Miss C. Greatbatch; Devon Street (Henui —Gover Street), Misses Day; Devon Street West, Miss Campbell; Gill Street, Miss Angus; Molesworth Street, Miss Johnston; Buller Street, Miss Griffin; Octavius Place, Miss T. Monteath; Watson, Hobson, Brown and Autere Streets, Miss W. Olsen; Avenue Road (to Boys’ High School), John and Cameron Streets, Miss B. Sole; Eliot Street (from B.H.S. to the sea), Miss B. Jones; Gover Street, Miss E. Fookes; Liardet and Pendarves Streets, Miss Gibson; Courtenay and Brougham Streets, Miss Moverley; Robe, Fulford and Bulteel Streets, Miss N. Peach; Dawson and Mt. Edgecombe Streets, Miss Aitken; Morley Street, Miss Anthony; Belt and Cutfield Roads, Miss Murphy; Young Street, Miss Mouat; Hine and Weymouth Streets, Miss M. Mouat; Leach Street, Miss M. Boxes may be obtained from Mr. Cattley’s office this (Friday) afternoon, between 3.30 and 5, or to-morrow morning.
