CARDINAL’S ADVICE TO BAVARIA. By Telegraph.—-Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, August 16. In deference to public opinion, Cabinet has abolished the 10.30 closing licensing order, substituting 1 o’clock in the morning. Cardinal Faulhabea, addressing ex-soldiers in Munich, condemned Bavarians’ imitation of Berliners in drinking strong ale. He said Bavaria ought not to imitate every brainless innovation from Berlin. Bavaria ought to prevent the remodelling of her schools on the Prussian pattern.
