FLYING WITHOUT LICENSE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received August 18, 8.10 p.m. London, August 17. In the House of Commons the Secretary for the Air stated that the Air Ministry was aware that Hawker was suffering from tuberculosis, but the result of an examination in December, 1920, justified the renewal of his license. This expired in June, 1921, and at the time of his death Hawker was flying without a license.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
