LOUISE MACK TRAVELOGUE. The Louise Mack travelogue entertainment at the Empire Thearee last night drew only a small ‘‘house,’’ although it merited better patronage. The lecturer takes for her subject the fascinating theme of travel, and herself a traveller who enters into the spirit of travel, she takes her hearers to the great places nf interest the world over, interpreting the dumb inspiration of ancient Rome, of mighty Moscow, bright, and sparkling Venice, and many other of the historical cities of the continent, inio plain understandable English in a simple and appealing style. The lecture is accompanied. by .pictures of the subjects, and as a little diversion to lightness a funny Italian man monkey is snown and a wonderful lady contortionist. Amusing and picturesque glimpses of national life in many countries are given, and the entertainment as a whole is a travel into the unknown of the stay-at-' home.
