GREECE PROCLAIMING VICTORY. PREPARING THE PEACE TERMS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received August 12, 7.5 p.m. Athens, August 11. A jsemi-offifcfial statement sa|ys the War Minister, reviewing the military position, said the Kemalist Army was totally crushed, and was no longer of military importance. Regarding peace Greece did not 'want to repeat past mistakes, and would demand guarantees against the enemy attacking Greece again. Greece would also secure the liberated populations from further oppression.
The newspapers state that the general staff has decided that the territories outside the de-limitation of the Turkish treaty shall be placed under an. independent military administration under Greek laws.—‘'United Service.
