A REMARKABLE CURE. Masterton, August 8. Wiremu Raitana, the Maori faith healer, paid a\ flying visit to the Te Ore Ore pa during the week-end, together with his\ secretary and attendants. He arrivecF at the Papawai Maori pa on Friday, an<lHater the party came on to Greytown \and Carterton and reached Te Ore by motor car on Sunday afternoon. XFew natives in the district know of the Visit, and the white people were not informed until this morning. \ Numbers of minor were treated by Katana last night, \but the most remarkable cure was tl\at of Rodney Thompson, a well-known Native of this district for a great many ybars. Thompson had been the victim ofv acute rheumatism, and for some tiirly? past has kept mostly to his bed. he walked it was only with and he had to depend on crutches. Yesterday this man was carried to Ratanaj.. This morning he was able to walk aid. \
