GREAT WELCOME IN SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Assn Copyright. Received August 10, 11.45 p.m. Sydney, August 10. Archbishop Mannix has returned. He received a big demonstrative welcome, including a much beflagged procession of Catholic societies and returned Irish soldiers. After Archbishop Mannix left the Cathedral, where he was officially welcomed, he was mobbed by an immense crowd, hundreds going on their ■knees before him.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
