WAR IN MOROCCO.
SPANISH POLICY. TERRITORY TO BE RECOVERED. MUTINY AMONG TROOPS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, August fl. Spain is apparently determined not to follow the advice to clear out of Africa, which was freely tendered in the British and French Press after the recent reverse at Melilla. An official Madrid dispatch, after admitting the possibility of the fall of General Navarro and his troops, who are still holding out at Monte Aruit, says that this, however disagreeable, will not affect the offensive operations by General Berenguer, for which sufficient troops are concentrating at Melilla. The recovery of the whole territory recently lost is confidently expected. Dispatches from Paris, however, show the difficulties ahead. They declare that a mutiny among the recruits on the troopship Valencia, en route to Morocco recently, was only quelled by the intervention of two destroyers. The escorting destroyers now train their guns on troopships crossing the Mediterranean. SPANISH CABINET FALLS. Madrid, August fl. The situation in Morocco has caused a Cabin?* crisis. It is expected that Senor Ma fra will form a Cabinet. NAVARRO’S TRObPS. Madrid, August 7. It is reported that General Navarro’s troops have escaped from Monte Arruit and are making for Melilla. In a destructive fire at Casablanca the harbor customs houses and a numbe" of warehouses were destroyed.
