NEW AIRCRAFT.
FOR CROSSING ATLANTIC. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. London, August 7. A new type of aircraft, partl ? aeroplane and partly ship, capable of resting on the ocean in the roughest weather, .and expected to fly from London to New York in 40 hours, is undergoing trials in England. Gigantic flying ships are being designed on the same principle, capable of carrying 100 passengers in addition to the crew, food and stores, crossing the Atlantic in under 48 hours.
