TARANAKI’S EXPORTS.
VERY HEALTHY POSITION. WEALTH OF DAIRY. PRODUCE. The exports from Taranaki ports for the first six months of this year appear in the July number of the Abstract of Statistics, and make interesting reading. For the halt year the value of the total exports was £3,351,037, and for the year ending June 31 no less than £5,302,333, equal to £B4 per head of population, or more than double the value for the whole Dominion. Butter and cheese accounted for four-fifths of the exports. The details are as follow:
