Tho larger part of tho evening was spent in dancing, the floor having been excellently prepared, and from tiie dancers’ point of view, was everything that was to be desired. During the evening songs were contributed by Mrs. T. Larking, and were highly appreciated. Excellent music was supplied by Mr. Pearson, extras being played by Mr. Parke and Mrs. Doyle. Altogether a most enjoyable time was spent, dancing being continued until well past midnight. When the time for departure arrived the guests, who were so hospitably entertained, were quite sorry to break up the happy gathering, carrying with them pleasant recollections of one of the most enjoyable evenings they had ever spent. The large attendance of friends from all parts of the province was sure proof of the great esteem in which the young couple were held.
