REDUCTIONS IN ENGLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. Received August 5, 5.5 p.m. London, August 4. The Midland Counties Wages Board reports that since January the price of finished iron has fallen to the extent of £l3 a ton, the effect of which is an 80 per cent, reduction in iron workers’ wages The North-East Coast Arbitration Board reduced puddlere’ and forge mill workers’ wages to the extent of 47 per cent.—Aus.N.Z.
