PRICES AT WESTFIELD.

Auckland, Last Night. Prices at Westfield to-day were:—
Beef.—A big yarding, consisting mostly of forward cattle, and in consequence prime cattle met with a most brisk sale and sold at an advance on late rates. Extra heavy ox £1 19s, prime £1 18s to £1 13s, unfinished £1 Bs, £1 ss, extra good cow £1 9s to £1 sfl, plain and ordinary 20s to 10s. Sheep.—Average yarding, very few prime being penned, and prices hardly as good as last week. Extra wethers 255, good 23s to 18s, forward 17s 6d to 14s; ewes, few extra heavy 23a, prime 20s to 16s, unfinished 15s to 10s.
Calves. —Medium yarding, with a good demand for prime vealers. Runners £6 to £5, vealers £4 10s to £2 10s, fresh dropped 10s to ss. Pigs.—Small yarding, very spirited sale and decided advance. Baconers
£7 10s to £6, choppers £7 to £6, porkers £5 to £3, stores, decidedly better demand for all classes.
