The shareholders z in the Waiotahi Goldmining Company passed a res6lution voluntarily winding up the company. The company was formed on July 28, 187’, with a nominal capital of £lB,OOO in 6000 £3 shares. The amount of capital actually j paid up is £16,000, divided into 240,000 shares of Is 6d each, paid up to Is 4d, j and held by 500 to 600 shareholders, one of whom owns about one third. The value ; of gold and silver produced is £680,190, out i of which dividends totalling £lOO,BOO have : been paid, an average of £66 16s per share jon the original COOO. The bulk of the million was won since 1904.
