RACING IN ENGLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received July 26, 9.20 p.m. London, July Zti. The Wingfield sculls was won by Beresford Junior. The race was rowed on the Putney to Mortlake course. Half-way through Gollan (Leander) fouled Beresford, whose boat was badly damaged and finished waterlogged. Gollan finished first iu 24 minutes 43 seconds. but the race was awarded to Beresford on a foul. The latter’s time was 26min. 25scc.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
