RUSSIA’S TRAGEDY.
EXPLOITED BY GERMANS. CONTROL OF MINERALS. FAR-REACHING SCHEME. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 27, 1.20 a.m, London, July 26. A London correspondent in Berlin learns that the Russian tragedy is being exploited by a group of big banks, which are approaching landowners whose land contains minerals and coal and offering small sum® for an option to purchr.se within a year, which period Germans believe sufficient to produce a total collapse of the Soviets. Many impoverished refugees accepted and others refused, but agreed to form companies on a basis that the Germans should supply the plant and machinery. Germany will thus acquire enormous coal, oil and mineral rights which will enable Germany to control the world’s trade. Herr St Innes is the leading figure in these mammoth pro-jects.—Aus.-N.Z.
