KILLED WHILE SHOOTING. By Takwraoh. —Press Association. Gisborne, July 23. Hugh Rae, a single middle-aged resident of the district, was adcidentally ©hot in the bush at Te Miro yesterday. Rae and a friend went pig-shooting. A pig ran between them, and both fired at the same time. It is thought the bullet ricochetted from a tree. It struck Rae over the eye, and death was instantaneous. CRUSHED BY A BOULDER. Gisborne, July 23. J. Lamb, aged 60, whilst working near Hicks’ Bay, on the Teararoa Road, met with a fatal accident, a large boulder rolling over him, last Tuesday. He was brought to Teataroa Hospital, where he died this- morning.
