SALE AT CHRISTCHURCH. THE RANGE OF PRICES. By Telegraph—Press Associaiion. Christchurch, Last Night. At the sixth local wool sale to-day 900 bales were offered. The wool was not in such good condition as usual, part being seedy and a 1 section comprising the tail end of dips. There was little demand for merino and values were down a penny to penny half-penny. Threequarter bred showed same decline and rossbred showed a reduction of a penny. Halfbred were keenly competed for by the Continent and' America and values were a shade firmer. Local mills operated sparingly. Pieces and bellies were distinctly firmer and Hd above the June values. Between 75 to 80 per cent, of the catalogue was sold. The range of prices is as follows: — Derino super to IP/gd, medium B%d. to 9fd, inferior o£d to halfbred super lOd to lUd, medium 3sd to 9£d, infer’ >r 5d to B*4; three-quarter bred super 6£d to 7|d, medium 5d to 6d, inferior 3|d to 4id; crossbred super 4Jd to 5Ad, medium to 4RI, inferior 2£d to 4|d, crutchings 2d to 34d.
