TRADE WITH ENGLAND.

HEAVY CABLE TRAFFIC. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright. Received July 21, 9,15 pm. London, July 20. The Australian press Association learns that the commercial cable traffic between Britain and Australasia is now unprecedentedly heavy. Commercial authorities are of opinion that this is due to the necessity for caution, in view of the ’.instability of prices. At the same time there are signs of improvement in Australasian trade and a further easing of the exchange difficulties. The excessive cabling is partly due to the placing and fulfilment of overseas orders which have been held up owing to the recent strikes. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
