NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. To-morrow there will be a men’s flag match at Waiwakaiho. The course Is in splendid order at present, and this should make a most interesting game. The soplor and junior championships commence oh August 13. There will be two qualifying rounds of 18 holes each, the first sixteen to qualify in each case. STRATFORD v. WAVERLEY. There was beautiful weather at Wa.verley on Wednesday for the match between Waverley and Stratford ladies, the visitors losing by three matches. Following are details of the play, Stratford players being mentioned first in each Instance: Mrs. Burmester lost to Miss Gibson. Mrs. Christie halved with Mrs. Dickie. Mrs. Abraham won against Mrs. Muir. Miss Wright lost to Miss Burke. Mrs. Budge lost to Miss Symea. - Mrs. Glasgow lost to Mias Honeyfleld. Mrs. Howard won against Mrs. Harvey.
