A CORRECTION. (To the 'Editor.) Sir, —In your report of Saturday’s football match you incidentally make reference to the ‘ Taranaki’' Pipe Band. As this has created some confusion in the minds of some people, will you kindly publish this correction. It was the Eltham Pipe Band that was in attendance. 1 understand that there is no “Taranaki" Pipe Band.---! am, etc,, C. W. CARN CROSS. Hon. See. Eltham Pipe Band. (We regret the error. They made worthy representatives of Taranaki. —Ed.)
