PRICKS AT WESTFIELD. By Telegraph.—Press Association Auckland. Last Night. Prices at Westfield to-day were: Beef.—A good yarding. Prices for prime cattle were maintained, but unfinished sorts were hard to quit; extra choice ox made S6s; prime 34s to 30s: plain, 29s to 255; cows, extra prime, 29s to 255; plain, 20s to 15s. Sheep.—A moderate yarding, the bulk being unfinished. Prime sheep met with a ready sale at late rates; extra heavy wethers. 20s: prime. 23s to 21s; unfinished. 90s to I7s fid; ewes, prime, 20s to 17s 6d; unfinished, 15* tc 20s. Lambs.—A full yarding, mostly unfinished: extra good, 25s Gd; prime, 23s to 19s; stores, 15s to 10s. ' Calves. —A moderate entry; prices slightly improved, especially for vealers; runners, £0 to £5? venters, £4 to £2 15s: fresh dropped. 8s to ss. Pigs.—A small yarding; values fully up to last sale-; baconers, £6 10s to £5 10s; chopper®, £6 5s to £5; porkers, £4 to £2 15s, There was a somewhat better demand for stores.
