At Toronto Peach and Todd won tho Canadian open 'doubles championship, defeating Bennett and Holmes (Winnipeg) 6—4, 5—7, 7—5, 6—4. The game was keenly contested and play was fairly even until ti e last two sets, when the Australians got, the, upper hand. Todd was in particularly good form. Dennett and Holmes have been chosen to represent Canada in the Davis Cup matches.
