THE PEOPLE’S. “THE FACE AT YOUR WINDOW.” The Fox all-star attraction, “The Face at Your Window,” screening finally tonight at the People’s, is an inspiring play of the problem of modern times. It contains a series of climaxes, each thrilling in itself and rising with cumulative effect to the supreme emotional moment, the summit of the action, the biggest punch of all. Thrill follows thrill—no dull moments between. The bill includes Fox Gazettes and “Sunshine” To-morrow’s change presents the big Metro 7-reel super-play, “Hearts are Trumps.” “King of the Circus,” Gazette and comedy are also on this bill. EVERYBODY’S. WALLACE REID IN “DOUBLE SPEED.” Wallace Reid will delight all his old and new friends in his big “Automobile” picture, “Double Speed,” a Paramount production commencing to-night at Everybody’s. “Double .Speed” is a romance of love and motor cars, charged with thrills, sparkling with surprises, gojng two miles a minute. “Speed” Carr is a youthful “live wire” on the way from New York to Los Angeles by auto to meet his unde, Jphn Ogden, with regard to his inheritance. “Speed” has his car and other possessions stolen from him in the desert. A letter of ir.troduction to Donald McPherson, president of the Continental Bank of Los Angeles, is'missing. “Spflfed” is picked up by a /friendly Ford and carried to his destination, where he arrives in illfitting, dirty, borrowed clothes, making him look like a tramp. The ensuing adventures of “Speed” provide ample thrill and romance. The bill includes gazette. Mack Sennett comedy, and “Bride 13.”
