A Greek communique claims that, after a general engagement, the troops captured the enemy’s prepared lines, and were victorious in a day-long fierce battle. A turning movement compelled the Turks to retreat hotly pursued. The enemy’s resistance is breaking up and there is a good prospect of completely enveloping Kutaia.
