SINN FEIN PRISONERS.
ATTEMPT PASSIVE RESISTANCE. TROUBLE IN THE GAOL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn —Copyright Received July 19, 8.10 p.m. ; London, July 18. Eighty Sinn Fein prisoners, who were* brought to Dartmoor from Ireland a month ago, organised an attempt at passive resistance. When paraded and ordered to proceed with their usual tasks they refused and doffed their caps and tunics and began singing and dancing. They disregarded the governor’s appeal to them to obey orders, and were forcibly replaced in their cells z after a sharp struggle with the warders. —-Reuter Service.
