FALL FROM TRAIN.
ELDERLY MAN KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Henry Egerton Martin, a married man, aged 63, an old resident of Waikamete, was killed while alighting from a train at that station. Apparently he mistook the station, remaining on the train until it started, and in attempting to alight he slipped between the platform and the carriage. He was dragged about a carriage length, death being instantaneous. He was terribly mutilated.
